Return To Play thanks to The National Lottery #ThanksToYou
From August we are welcoming you back to Stepping On Social and Zumba Gold thanks to National Lottery players.
Hand In Hand Activities CIC will be throwing open its doors for free to National Lottery players during the week of 2nd to the 8th August 2021. They are one of hundreds of participating National Lottery funded visitor attractions across the UK in saying ‘thanks’ to people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket.
The idea is simple: any visitor who presents a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard on these dates gets a free class in return. Pop along to The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield on Wednesday 4th August at 2pm or Friday 6th August at 10:30am to attend the Stepping On Social or Zumba Gold class free of charge.
Hand In Hand Activities CIC has received £1000 from The National Lottery. The money will pay for the venue hire for these weekly classes for 12 months.
Tracey Crouch, Minister for Sport and Civil Society, said:
“This campaign is a fantastic way for National Lottery projects to give back to the players who support them every week, raising millions of pounds for good causes. There are hundreds of venues hosting events up and down the country, so I encourage everyone to get out out there and take advantage of what is on in their area.”
Alison Watson-Shields of Hand In Hand Activity CIC’s funded project said: “Thanks to National Lottery players we can look forward to bringing in-person exercise classes back to Stockton on Tees. We are really looking forward to welcoming people back to The Institute in Grangefield and work on supporting their physical health, mental health and social wellbeing.”
