On Monday 20th September, Books and Bakes Book Club met at The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield to discuss The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards.
Thanks to a donation from Asda Foundation, Hand In Hand Activities CIC will very soon be delivering a number of resin craft workshops for a small group of people.
On Thursday 16th September, the Happy Wanderers set off in McChadwick (the Renault Master Minibus) for a day out at Seaham Beach.
Hand In Hand Activities CIC will be hosting an Afternoon Tea event at The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield on Thursday 30th September starting at 12 noon.
Thanks to the support and generosity of Asda shoppers and the local Community Champion, Hand In Hand Activities CIC has received funding to deliver two different projects to bring the community back together.
On Monday 6th September, award winning local author Amy Lord attended the Books and Bakes Book Club to talk to the group about her book and all things book-publishing related. You could see how passionate Amy is in her craft in how fully and honestly she answered all of the questions.
On Friday 27th August, Hand In Hand Activities CIC invited a guest instructor to attend the Golden Zumba class to teach a Bollywood workshop.
Amy will be attending our Books & Bakes Book Club at The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield on Monday 6th September at 2:30pm.
Hand In Hand Activities successfully applied for National Lottery Awards For All funding for 12 months.
